Hi there, I’m Katie. A former ballet dancer turned brand identity designer, I’ve always been drawn to the power of storytelling—whether through movement, acting, visuals, or words. My journey has been anything but linear, but what it’s taught me is this: every experience has a way of shaping the work I create and the way I connect with others.

After years of dedicating myself to classical ballet, I shifted my focus to design, earning an MA in graphic and web design. Much of what occupied my mind as a ballet dancer still occupies my mind as a designer. The constant toggling between big-picture vision and the smallest of details. The belief that every element matters. An obsession with geometric lines and the alignment of parts. And always, always considering the experience of the audience. That’s the through-line in everything I do: creating something that feels effortless but is rooted in precision and intention.

I believe in the kind of art that goes beyond the surface—the kind that resonates deeply with its audience, inspires action, or maybe just makes someone pause for a moment to feel something real. For me, design isn’t just about pretty visuals (though, let’s be honest, they matter a lot); it’s about combining research, strategy, and creativity to tell a story that truly connects.

When I’m not behind my screen crafting brands, you might find me dabbling in visual art or using my hands on any number of projects—refinishing furniture, teaching myself how to sew, weaving rugs, crocheting blankets, experimenting with life and body casting, or optimizing my home storage systems.

So, if you’re looking for a collaborator who can toggle seamlessly between the big picture and the tiniest detail, who thrives on creative problem-solving, and who truly cares about crafting something meaningful—let’s talk. I’d love to hear your story and explore how we can bring it to life through design.
